  • Payment is made by credit or debit cards via the “Book now” button.
  • 100% of the balance is due to secure the booking.
  • On receipt of full payment, a link to the Welcome Book will be emailed to you providing all the information you should need regarding directions, parking, access arrangements etc.
  • Payments are made through the secure Stripe payment platform.

In the event of cancellation, to receive a full refund, at least six weeks notice must be given. If a cancellation is requested less than 6 weeks from the booking date, we will attempt to re-let the property and if successful, a discretionary payment may be made. However, we strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

Cancellation of the booking by the holidaymaker should be made in writing and addressed to: [email protected]

No, but a pre-authorisation is taken 2 days before arrival on your payment card to the value of £600 and is held as security against any unlikely damage.

The hold will be released 5-7 days after departure. No monies will be debited without contacting you first.

Although we are dog owners ourselves, and we understand completely the attachment that forms with our canine companions, we decided two years ago to keep the house pet free, as some of our guests are extremely sensitive to pet hair. We took the difficult decision that it was probably easier for our potential guests to leave their dogs behind, than it was for us to remove every dog hair. Apologies if this policy impacts on you.

Our private gravel drive accommodates one car. If further parking is required, immediately outside the front door there is free on-street parking for up to four cars (availability is not guaranteed). As there is a school nearby, these on street spaces tend to be used until 15.45 weekdays. So if one or more of your party will be requiring convenient free parking, I suggest they aim to arrive no earlier than 4pm as the school run will be over by then. There are also various free parking streets within a 5 minute walk of the house.

We can, but please let us know in advance so the housekeepers can make the necessary arrangements. 

The lead guest who is making the booking is required to upload photo ID (government issued driver’s license or passport) and to electronically sign the renters agreement document at point of booking.
